The Hotel- Wirtshaus Garbe is only a few meters from the Hohenheim Botanical Gardens, in Plieningen which is the south-most suburb of Stuttgart. Traditional Swabian cooking is the heart and soul of the Wirtshaus. The themes of tradition and congeniality reflect throughout the establishment , which was renovated with much attention to detail in 2010 by the Ruthenberg family. The restaurant and hotel rooms have been redesigned to meet today’s standards to include WLAN, LCD Televisions, air conditioning and modern furnishings.

Not only should local places of interest like the Schloss Hohenheim, with its zoological gardens or the University of Hohenheim entice you to visit, our beer garden is the perfect place to meet with family and friends. Come, enjoy a bottle of wine, or a cool draught beer under our old chestnut trees! You could also enjoy a fresh, homemade Dinnete from our traditional wood fired oven located in the beer garden. Dinnete is a Swabian thin crust delight topped with meat, or vegetables of your choice.
